|h| or h or H = clearing throat sound. 1
|rr| or rr or RR = Spanish rr sound, drawn out.
|k| or k or K = same as |h|, only with k sound.
|g| or g or G = rolling of tongue like span. rr, only no consonant sound.
“ - ” (dash)= used to connect words; essential for compound words sometimes. Sometimes used to replace the apostrophe. (no sound applied to it)
“ ’ ” (apostrophe) = just separates word parts for emphasis. They have no sound.
Ï and ï = “eye” sound.
Ai or ai = “ay” sound.
É and é = “ay” sound.
Ó or ó = “o” as in “low” sound
II or ii = makes “ee” sound.
DJ or dj = Sort of a soft d sound mixed with a soft j sound. Kind of sounds like a “sh,” and a “j.” So djai is roughly pronounced jay.
NW or nw = (when in front of word) the “n” makes a “nuh” sound. So “nwail” is “nuh-wail”

Ahm’Ah’Kohm’Ah’Nai’Ah’Lah = A very large creature called “The Bird-Crocodile of Traipah.” The largest species is the size of a small whale.
